- 1 cup unsalted butter (226g)
- 2 cups granulated sugar (400g)
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (75g)
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (270g)
Step 1:
Melt butter, then stir in 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant espresso, and chocolate chips until smooth
Step 2:
Mix sugar with salt and vanilla extract
Step 3:
Beat the eggs into the sugar mixture for about 5 minutes
Step 4:
Add the melted butter and chocolate into the egg mixture and combine well
Step 5:
Add flour and cocoa powder to the chocolate mixture
Step 6:
Gently fold everything together until smooth
Step 7:
Pour the batter into your baking dish and bake at 180°C for 40 minutes
